Help with grout color

Planning to tile a kitchen countertop with blue pearl tiles. Having difficulty deciding what color grout to use. Also trying to figure out what edge to use. Could get some oak edging. There is also a couple of companies where i can get premade edging but only close colors are black and emerald pearl. This is my first project with countertops.Want it to look good but not ready to try to cut edges. And do not like plain tile edge and afraid of it chipping. Could use some Expert opinions.Thanks.

Afraid of trying that at this point. Pretty new at tiling at present. Looking for black unsanded grout. Keep only finding charcoal.

charcoal is basically black. there is pretty much no black grout tht stays jet black, it all eventually turns into a charcoal color once its cured. BUT that color is darker than the tiles, in my opinion it looks terrible when the grout is darker than the tile. you might want to go with a darker shade of grey. just keep your grout lighter than the stone and it will look excellent.

I bought some navy blue grout from home depot. I guess I'll go with that. Now I have a question about plywood. There are different types. Sanded indoor ,birch, oak. What is the best type to get?I know I need 3/4 inch? Thanks for info.

Plywood? For tiles?
Is this a floor, a counter or a wall?
If it is a floor is the substrate convrete? If not, what is it?
If it is a wall try cement fiberboard instead of plywood.
Please post more info.

I am doing a countertop in granite tiles. I am asking about what kind of plywood to use before the cement board. They carry oak, birch and a sanded indoor project plywood. I believe I need 3/4 inch. Is hardiboard ok or is another kind of cement board better to use.
